Lukas Kummer has been working as a freelance illustrator and comic artist since 2014. He was previously able to gain experience in the implementation of scientific content in comic form in collaboration with the Institute for Tree Mechanics/Building Dynamics at the University of Kassel. Lukas Kummer has published several graphic novels over the years, including adaptations of Thomas Bernhard’s autobiographical texts. Since 2018, he has illustrated for the science communication project “CRISPR-Whisper”. Examples of other works can be found on his homepage.
